I turned my alarm off last night and decided I was going to lie in this morning after the busy week, unfortunately, Sophiecat had other ideas and woke me at 3.37am for food! I put her off until 3.54am when I gave in, however, I did manage to get back to sleep for a bit and she woke me again just after 6am and then at 8.18am and she wanted this time was some cat treats and then went back to sleep!!
By this time I was wide awake so slowly got up and headed to the shops for a food shop, I’ve not done a big shop in a couple of weeks so it took a while to do but as I didn’t have any other plans for today I was in no rush.
Today, I’ve watched two films (Mulan & Nice Guy), this is highly unusual for me as I usually can’t sit through one film let alone two but my head just told me that I needed to just escape into another world which is what I’ve done, didn’t watch them both straight through, a few stops for food and refreshments & to watch the news but that’s the best I can do, loved both of them in different ways, think I’ll watch Mulan again at some point.
I also painted my nails as well, who am I!! Not done that in god knows how long as usually I can’t sit for long enough to allow them to dry properly but today I did!
My whirring head is still going but for a few hours today I got some respite from all the thoughts of things I need to do etc which has been excellent but know that tomorrow I’ll be doing a full day’s work, it feels neverending although I am very thankful that I have work coming in thick and fast…
Anyway, it’s bedtime now and I can’t wait to snuggle down in my quilt & sleep.
